The gangster character is particularly memorable because he was Catholic and he doesn't smoke nor drink - but he's one psycho mofo you wouldn't want to mess with. Young Attenborough's turn as twisted Pinkie is rated in many Best Screen Villain lists that I've read. It's quite an engrossin flick at any rate. ★★★★
